Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
Platelet Rich Plasma or PRP, is a nonsurgical bioregeneration cell technique that stimulates skin cell regeneration and the production of collagen and elastic fibers. This produces a more youthful, smoother looking and elastic skin.
The PRP is a procedure that uses the properties of our platelets by a substance known as Growth Factor (GF) through which a number of effects are produced at a cellular level, promoting the cell regeneration.
The procedure is performed by removing a certain amount of blood from the patient according to treatment needs, then placed in a centrifuge machine by which the plasma is separated from blood in sterile tubes with a stabilizing factor, and the Plasma fraction for the procedure is activated. Finally, the Plasma is injected by microneedle in the areas the patient wants to have the procedure done.
Since the growth factors are specific from the patient, there is no chance of allergic reactions or
rejection from the body.
Platelet Rich Plasma accelerates aged tissue repair or affected by injury, and stimulates the
production of collagen, elastin and skin tissue, resulting in a healthy and youthful skin.
The procedure is outpatient and recovery is quick and seamless.
