Complete Facelift
"Facelift, or rhytidectomy, is a procedure that lifts the facial tissues to look as it was before being affected by the passage of time, giving a more youthful appearance to the patient's face."
The procedure is divided into:
a) The upper or temporal lift, also known as mini-facelift, which has the effect of illuminating and refreshing the look,
and that can be performed as isolated procedure in young people who do not need to rejuvenate their cheekbones and cheeks.
b) The medium Facelift, which acts on the cheekbones and cheeks.
c) The neck lift, which tightens the skin, the muscles of the neck and removes the excess of fat from the cervical area, the chin and the mandibular ridge.
Combined with Blepharoplasty, Forehead and Brow Lift, produces an everlasting and natural improvement in the appearance.
The surgery is performed under local anesthesia plus sedation, and can last 3 hours or so. The procedure is outpatient, after the surgery is
done, the patient remains for a few hours in the clinic and then is discharged. The post-surgical recovery is quick and hassle free.
In the next few days the patient can resume the normal working life, although without engaging in activities requiring physical exertion
during the first days after surgery.
