The surgeon performs the procedure in two different ways: with silicone implants and fat grafting.
The buttocks implants used is similar to breast implants but it has more cohesive gel density and thicker elastomer layer, making it
an implant harder and more resistant, and at the same time, malleable as breast implants.
According to the preferences and goals of the patients, the surgeon places different types of buttocks implants to achieve the desired
result: round and oval implants, with smooth, textured or polyurethane outer shell.
Buttocks Augmentation through fat grafting includes one area of liposuction perform with a thinner cannula than the one used for liposculpture;
the fat obtained is processed and injected in the buttocks area.
In most cases, the surgery is performed under local anesthesia plus sedation, and can last 2 hours or so. The procedure is outpatient; after the surgery
is done, the patient remains for a few hours in the clinic and then is discharged. The post-surgical recovery is quick and hassle free.
In the next few days the patient can resume the normal working life, although without engaging in activities requiring physical exertion during the first days after surgery.
