Breast Augmentation
"The Breast Augmentation surgery is performed to give more volume to the breasts of women who are not satisfied with their size, or who wish to recover the lost volume in a previous surgery or nursing..."
The breast implant is a body of spherical shape, consisting of a solid and flexible silicone outer shell, made of one or more layers,
and filled with the latest generation of cohesive silicone; breast implants are classified according to the material they are made of,
which may be silicone gel and saline, according to the texture, smooth or rough, and according to their shape and size, depending
on the projection and diameter.
The size and type of implant must be the most suitable combination of the wishes of the patient and her body structure, so that the result is harmonious and natural.
The brands we work with are Mentor, Sebbin, McGhan and Silimed, among others; all of recognized international quality.
The surgery is performed under local anesthesia plus sedation, and can last 2 hours or so. The procedure is outpatient; after the
surgery is done, the patient remains for a few hours in the clinic and then is discharged. The post-surgical recovery is quick and hassle free.
The following week the patient can resume her normal working life, although without engaging in activities requiring physical exertion during the first days after surgery. It must be avoided movements that contract the pectoral muscle for three weeks, and sports and physical exercises for about a month.
